My Burning Bush

We all encounter life altering moments at various stages of our lives. We make plans and set goals and then life happens. Is it all a matter of coincidence, luck or birth right? Most of us go through these life changes without much reflection and introspection. Life just happens, but does it? We are all born for a purpose and some of the hard forks that happen in our lives are a preparation for the path that has been prepared for us by God before we were even born.

The next forty years he spends shepherding his father in law’s flock of sheep in the wilderness. The preparation doesn’t mean that he will not be tested by situations. We make plans but God directs our steps. Many are the plans in a man’s heart but it is the Lord’s plan that always prevails.
