The Ability in Disability

Description

When Thaato’s dad gets into an accident and becomes paralyzed, Thato thinks it’s the end of the world. Suddenly, his partner in adventure cannot do the things that excited him and has to be wheelchair bound. In trying to come to terms with what his dad has gone through, he asks his teacher what disability is, and she tells him how helpless people with disabilities are.

It’s only when he meets people. from a local organisation where he learns how able people with disabilities are, and learns about the different forms of abilities they have. And now he wants to change his dad’s world, as he changes his own.
